The Great Neck South Concert Choir provides many performance opportunities for students who love to sing. This class meets five days a week, and has several after school groups such as Barbershop, A Cappella, South Singers, Chamber Choir, and Soul Sisters. Many of our students are involved in the school musical, as well as our opera program, which is unique to most high schools. We are active participants in NYSSMA, as we encourage our students to audition for the All County, All State, and All Eastern choirs. There are also opportunities for advanced pianists to accompany the choir, and for students with experience to conduct vocal groups.
